September 10, 2006 - Bone Marrow search update
Regarding finding a bone marrow match for her - the preliminary search showed six potential matches, out of which three donors did not come forward for detailed testing. From the other three, there’s no good match. The transplant team will perform another preliminary search in the beginning of October - they said that new entries get added to registry at the end of the month. We are hoping that the results of many drives done earlier will get added to registry for that search.
